History
The Ada Arts Council (Nonprofit Organization) has been part of the community since 1976 when it was created to provide cultural opportunities for all ages. Recognizing the importance of the arts and humanities to our community, the council takes every opportunity to present a variety of programs, services, and support in the performing and visual arts to its members and the community at-large.
Your support has allowed us to offer a variety of special events including, Taste of Ada, Cozy Up with the Arts, our Annual Student and Member Art shows. We also continue to offer two annual scholarships, the Eleanor Wight and Criswell Memorial Scholarhsip to support a variety of students in the arts and humanities. As well as an annual award for Outstanding Adan for the Arts that recognizes a local community member making an impact in the arts and humanities.
We look forward to continue serving you.
